Ok, kemampuan bahasa jepang gw setingkat dengan bahasa sunda gw alias sekedarnya. Tapi gw tau artinya dari romaji lirik ini. Pokoknya kayak lagi ngitung. )

Gw pertama kali denger lagu ini dari ending ke-6 Anime : Bleach. Dan jujur aja, kesan pertama ga tertarik dan gw skip. Namun pernah sekali gw coba dengerin soalnya sambil maem jadinya males megang mouse, sampe masuk reff. Dan guess what? Gw kok suka ya.

Ini lagu udah masuk playlist gw sejak tahun 2006 (di hape, di pc (udah alm.) dan di laptop). Tapi belom ada kesadaran gw buat cari tau apa sih maksud lagu ini. Ngudek-udek internet sampe akhirnya nemu full lirik in Kanji, romanji sampe translationnya. Dan alasan gw suka lagu ini ternyata ga salah. Liriknya bagus, semangat dan memberikan motivasi. Yang jelas bukan soal cinta.

Ada satu bagian yang gw suka banget yaitu :

Sebetulnya gw bingung, kok kalimat pertama memakai kata ganti orang kedua, sedangkan di kalimat kedua jadi kata ganti orang pertama. Gw sangka kesalahan terjemahan. Karena penasaran gw cari-cari aja videonya di Youtube….dan akhirnya gw mengerti…. (see the video here and the song here

Pas gw cocokin scene di video klip dan liriknya ternyata mang pas. Inti dari lagu ini adalah supaya kita jangan menyerah dalam melakukan sesuatu. Gapailah cita-citamu setinggi-tingginya dan berusaha keras. Wew, what a song.
